Hawaiian-born artist and master fisherman Jason Bero brings authentic coastal art to California's Central Coast. Specializing in traditional Japanese Gyotaku fish printing alongside contemporary marine artwork, Jason creates commissioned pieces that celebrate the connection between ocean and art.

Raised across the Hawaiian islands of Lanai'i, Kauai, and Maui, Jason is a self-taught artist whose work is rooted in genuine respect for marine life and coastal ecosystems. What began as custom Gyotaku prints for local fishermen has evolved into nearly a decade of creating stunning, one-of-a-kind fish prints and marine-inspired artwork for collectors, anglers, and ocean enthusiasts worldwide.

Jason's artistic practice extends beyond the studio. As an active freediver, surfer, and fisherman, he maintains an intimate, hands-on relationship with local marine environments.

This deep ecological knowledge infuses every commissioned piece with authenticity and reverence for the natural world.
